i want to hunt down

realrealsoft:

the people who produce “snuggie” blankets, and kill them. also, they lie so fucking hard. a) about the fact that you need the product in the first place, and b) about the shitty plastic “reading light” they value at “fifteen dollars”. WHO IS THAT FUCKING STUPID?! it’s maximum value is probably, at most, fifty cents, and the poor malaysian kid who’s gnarled, over-worked hands put it together for you gets probably 0.001 cent from it.

/end rant.

Also aren’t those blankets essentially housecoats worn backwards?

We worked most of the day with the overhead lights turned off. For some reason, it made us all kind of crazy — in a good way. It feels like we had more fun and were more productive. I left work in a great mood. We should work with the lights off more often!
It’s like pseudo work! I don’t think this would work well for us, seeing as we work in a basement.
